The Cosmetic Dentistry Experience

The New Cosmetic Dentistry Patient Experience
As you enter our cosmetic dentistry office, subtle aromatherapy greets you along with sounds of trickling water and soothing music. Soft candlelight calms the nerves and will help you feel relaxed and less anxious while you briefly wait for your visit. By completing our “Conditt By Request” menu, you can customize your visit by selecting amenities that will help you feel more comfortable and pampered. This appointment is uninterrupted time reserved exclusively for you. This appointment will last approximately 1 to 1.5 hours and consists of:

A brief interview to listen to your concerns
Necessary x rays
Soft tissue and Cancer exam
Tooth exam
Intra oral camera tour to show patient concerns
Financial discussion of Treatment options. If treatment plan is extensive, and second consultation, at no additional expense, maybe necessary.

By collecting all this information, we will know everything about your oral health before you leave.

Cosmetic Consultation
A brief cosmetic dentistry consultation to discuss possible options to improve the aesthetics and or function of your teeth and smile. The purpose of the cosmetic dentistry consultation is to let the patient know what their options might be and allow the doctor and technician to decide if they want to accept the case. If the case is accepted, the next step is the smile design.

Smile Design
Once the cosmetic dentistry doctor and technician have agreed to accept a case the next step is for them to artistically design the final results. This begins with diagnostic models (molds) of the patient's teeth and a one-on-one interview with the doctor to discuss what expectations are desired by the patient and any input they may have in the final design. Once this is communicated with our lab technician, he will then make a set of restorations in wax for the patient’s review. If the cosmetic dentistry patient is pleased with the appearance, the wax-up will be used as a mold for their temporary restorations the day the preparations begin. While the cosmetic dentistry patient wears the temporaries, they can visually see how the teeth will look, and give them the power to make any changes before the actual restorations are made. This step eliminates the fear of the unknown.
