Make the Most of Your Smile with Minimal Reduction

Sometimes, a smile needs a little boost. Veneers can correct many aesthetic dental problems, including:

  1. Stains or Discoloration
  2. Chips and Cracks
  3. Misalignment or Crookedness
  4. Sharp, Fang-like Appearance
  5. Spaces Between Teeth
  6. Other Imperfections

However, patients must undergo significant tooth reduction prior to placement of veneers. Tooth reduction makes a bonded veneer appear natural, lying flat, in line with existing teeth. However, when natural dentition is removed, it cannot be replaced.

Most veneers are thick, so they require a patient to have significant tooth reduction, and they are not reversible. Because ceramic used for DURAthin Veneers is stronger than that of traditional veneers, it can be made thinner without compromising durability. A thinner veneer means less tooth reduction is required. With DURAthin Veneers, if you ever decide that you want your natural smile back, your dentist can simply remove them. Thin porcelain also allows light to enter and reflect off of natural underlying tooth structure, so DURAthin Veneers project your existing tooth shading and appear completely natural.

Patients don’t usually need anesthesia when DURAthin Veneers are placed, and the entire procedure can be completed in just two office visits. If you’re concerned about tooth reduction, but you want a dazzling Hollywood smile, ask us about DURAthin Veneers at your next office visit.
